Rewari : The state government has taken another step to improve the functioning of CM Window for ensuring redressal of every complaint in a proper manner. Eminent persons will be associated with the CM window in every district to inform the complainants about redressal of their complaints and get their feedback in this respect.

“A list of eminent persons has been prepared at the district level. Working as third party, they will approach the complainants to get their feedback about redressal of their complaints,” said DS Dhesi, Chief Secretary. Interacting with mediapersons here today, he said, “The persons will ascertain whether or not the complainants are satisfied with the action at the CM window regarding their complaints.”

“A list of eminent persons has been prepared at the district level. Working as third party, they will approach the complainants to get their feedback about redressal of their complaints,” said DS Dhesi, Chief Secretary.

The Chief Secretary said the move was aimed at making the CM window more effective and popular to establish third party intervention for collecting information from complainants regarding redressal of their grievances and resolution of problems. Further action would be taken if the persons found any complainant dissatisfied with functioning of the CM Window, he added.

“The Chief Minister wants not only the complaints to be resolved, but the complainants to be satisfied with the results as well,” he asserted. Dhesi was here to review the progress of ongoing development works in the district and get feedback about the government’s welfare and development schemes being run by different departments.

He sought reports on works related to drinking water, POS machines, MGNREGA, pollution, CM Window, Kisan Rupay card and online driving licence and concerning the Irrigation Department. The Chief Secretary directed public health and Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran officials to ensure adequate supply of potable water during summer.

Asked about equal distribution of water, he said drinking water was one of the priorities of the state government and it was being distributed as per requirement. “Since the demand for drinking water is high during summer, its supply is increased accordingly to meet the demand,” he stated.

On effluents being released by industrial units at Bhiwadi in Rajasthan towards Rewari’s Dharuhera industrial town, Dhesi said the Rajasthan Government had filed an affidavit with the NGT and promised to set up an additional water treatment plant to resolve the problem.

“I have directed the Rewari Deputy Commissioner to conduct surveys in this regard and give his report in two days,” he said. “He has been asked to speed up construction of the drain being constructed at a cost of Rs 50 lakh for proper drainage of liquid waste from Dharuhera,” he added.
