Chinmaya Mission announces free Vedanta Course Haryana Students

Panchkula  (Dharmender Singh) -  Chinmaya Mission and Tara Cultural Trust invites applications for the 16th Vedanta Course. The two-years residential course that opens up the treasure of ancient knowledge is entirely free of cost. Candidates who wish to join must be graduates under the age of 30, with a keen desire to study Vedanta. Selected candidates will be provided free accommodation, food, clothes, books and medical facilities. After the Course, students can serve the Chinmaya Mission or pursue their individual goals.

 

The course, beginning on 29 August, will be conducted at Sandeepany Sadhanalaya, Powai, Mumbai. The last date for registration is 15 May. Chinmaya Mission is a global organization with over 300 centres round the world engaged in spiritual, educational and social services since 1953 formed by Swami Chinmayananda, the world-renowned exponent of Vedanta.

Vedanta, the essential core of Hinduism, is the universal science of life, relevant to all people of all backgrounds and faiths. Vedanta inspires spiritual seekers to understand their own faith better. The study of Vedanta is a sacred and ancient tradition, imparted in a Gurukula setting. The course entails a detailed and exhaustive study of the Bhagawad Gita, Upanishads, texts authored by AdiSankara,Vidyaranya and others, the Six Darshanas and devotional works like the Ramayana and Bhagawata.

 

Chinmaya Mission is a movement that continues to touch and transform all aspects of human life. As a spiritual movement that aims for inner growth at individual and collective levels, the Mission offers a wide array of Vedanta study forums for all ages, promotes Indian classical art forms, and operates numerous social service projects.
