Health Literacy Festival Held, Book Ayushman Bharat Authored By Dr R Kumar Released

Chandigarh - SPEAK India’s Health literacy festival was organized by Society for Promotion of Ethical and Affordable Health Care, in collaboration with Lions Club Chandigarh Harmony at Sharda Sarvhitkari Senior Secondary School, Chandigarh. The theme of the festival was ‘Universal health literacy as a precursor to universal health coverage’, which is the theme of this year’s World Health Day falling on April 7, according to Dr. R.Kumar president of SPEAK India. “Life of many patients can be saved with health literacy, besides preventing the choking of hospitals from the overload of dying patients”, added Dr. Kumar.
